Rejuvenating an old acquintance
One hundred thousand shopping carry-baskets have been in service for years in all Albert Heijn stores to be used by customers with a small grocery list. To fill the gap between this carry-basket and a shopping cart, Albert Heijn wanted to introduce a new device: a buggy. By snapping on four wheels and an additional handgrip to the existing carry-basket, it could be transformed into a dual purpose cart that allows the baskets to be carried, be pushed or towed: You decide!
